São usados para iniciar a descrição do substantivo. Alguns pronomes relativos comuns são:

Aqui 'who' (que), é o pronome relativo.

Em inglês formal, 'whom' é usado para se referir à pessoa que recebe uma ação, e não para o sujeito. Aqui o objeto é 'lawyer' que recebeu a ação de se reunir, que eu fiz (eu me reuni com o advogado), por isso, usamos 'whom'.

Lembre-se que 'who's' e 'whose' são duas palavras distintas.
