Superlatives (সবচেয়ে লম্বা, সবচেয়ে ভালো)
টিপ
Rajasthan is hot = রাজস্থান উষ্ণ।
Rajasthan is hottest state in India = রাজস্থান ভারতের উষ্ণতম রাজ্য।
Superlative degree- কোন বিশেষণের superlative রুপ হয়।
এখানে hottest, hot এর superlative রুপ।
Superlative degree এর অর্থ যে যেটি বিশেষণ, সেটি উচ্চতম (সব চেয়ে বেশী)।

She is short = সে খর্ব।
She is the shortest girl in our class = সে আমাদের ক্লাস/শ্রেণীর খর্বতম।
Short -> Shortest
এখানে shortest, short এর superlative রুপ।

Rule: the adjective + est

কোন বিশেষণ শব্দের superlative রুপের জন্য 'est' যোগ করতে হয়।

She is pretty = সে সুন্দর।
She is the prettiest girl in the world = সে জগতে সুন্দরতম মেয়ে।
এখানে pretty এর superlative রুপ prettiest.

The + adjective(-y + i) + est
এখানে pretty এর superlative রুপের জন্য pretty শব্দ থেকে 'y' সরিযে 'iest' যোগ করা হয়েছে।

He is intelligent = সে বুদ্ধিমান।
He is the most intelligent boy in the class = সে শ্রেণীর সবচেয়ে বুদ্ধিমান ছেলে।
কিছু শব্দকে superlative রুপের জন্য 'most' লেখা হয়।

The + most + intelligent

Most intelligent-ই intelligent এর superlative রুপ।
