Describe the following sentence: John is tired as he run long way...

this sentence is of "adverb clause of reason".in other way we can also descibe it as "john is tired because he runs long way."

I think this sentence is wrong because with he is not used verb run. so please improve this sentence and then ask that how do you want to ask?????
